Long time, no see...

Well, after a long break, I am finally back! A lot has happened since I have been gone, but I am so glad to finally be back in the saddle again! I certainly have missed it all.

So what all has been going on? It would take forever to tell everything so I will stick to the basics. My mother-in-law had a heart attack, followed by a triple bypass. We have been incredibly worried about her. I am happy to report she is now out of the hospital and hopefully on her way to a full recovery. Please be thinking of her as this will be a long process for her.

For better news, we found out we are expecting! We are all shocked and excited over this little surprise. This pregnancy has definitely been harder than my first was so far. Hopefully, it will ease up after my first trimester is complete!

Finally, I have been preparing a new project. I will be announcing details soon so keep an eye out!

Doh!

It has been such a long time since my last post! You are wanting to know why, right? I couldn't remember what to login with! I have been fighting with it and trying to figure out why my blog wasn't listed... It was because I was logging in with the wrong information.

The past few months have been riddled with heartache around here. My grandmother is very sick and we lost an incredible friend as well. I have taken a very long break to take care of things in my family and I am so ready to be back behind my camera!

I will try to catch up here and there as I can. I am going to have to get back into the groove. I will share some pictures with you as well in upcoming posts :).

Young Love

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a cute couple. This is my sister and her boyfriend. I am so glad to have had this time with them, because she will be moving away very soon. She, her boyfriend, my son, and I spent the day in downtown Memphis and we all had so much fun. From riding trolleys, to the monorail, and ending with a relaxing carriage ride, these are memories that will stick with me forever. I love you Ashton!

Eyes that could cut glass!

My most recent shoot was with an adorable one year old. This little boy had the most incredible blue eyes I have ever seen! He was full of energy and a blast to work with! His mom was a total sweetie as well. She even brought his Halloween costume!

Downtown

One of my favorite places to go is downtown. Now that my youngest is three, it is one of his favorite places too! Everytime time we take a trip for the day there he has to call Gran-Gran as soon as we get home and tell her about the monorail, the "charlie" (trolley), and most of all, the carriage horses. Here are a few shots from our recent trips downtown.
